Once again this is a recycled putter from an earlier era.
In its first life it was hugely successful – particularly with those golfers who struggled not with pace – but alignment.
The two balls on the head – plus the actual ball you’re playing with, all being lined up along the chosen line of your putt was an extreme visual advantage over other putters.
It has been re-introduced primarily because of its popularity last time around – but today it benefits from THREE new innovations.
- This putter is fitted with the Microhinge Face Technology for greater feel between ball and clubhead at impact. This cannot fail to help your distance control from over 15-20 feet.
- This putter has an entirely new shaft technology that blends steel and graphite for greater lightness. This enabled Odyssey to insert more weight in the head and some additional weight in the grip end of the shaft – thus offering improved overall balance.
- Being introduced for the first time throughout the Triple Track range – we’re seeing Vernier Hyper Acuity. Never heard of that? Most people haven’t and it’s hardly any wonder as it’s used on Aircraft Carriers to assist the fast jet pilots to line up more accurately on landing.
